Special thanks to total-pizdets for the heads-up on the first track; other than that, this one almost assembled itself. The cover art is a modification of a work by Richard Saja.
ADMINISTRATIVE NOTE: If you author a podcast yourself, and you have a decent workflow that results in some robust, useful ID3 tags, and the process isn’t too much of a hassle, please drop a note in my ask box. I’m using an old crappy PHP library to generate the feed XML and am getting really unsatisfactory results. Thanks in advance!

Once in a while I take a break from my standard genre-hotchpotch and try to concentrate on a single theme; this is second in a series of ambient/drone/psych/komishce mixes which spotlights modular and sequenced synthesizers. On The Glass #4 is about half-done and should come out sometime in May. Happy Easter if that’s your thing. I’m gonna go pay too much for a sandwich.

ADMINISTRATIVE NOTE
I got a couple of messages asking for downloadable versions of these mixes, and I am nobody if not a compliant ape-servant, so now you can, if it is instead your style, grab the source MP3 on its own. I will not make available the constituent MP3s; if that’s what you’re looking for, I really urge you to find the records these songs are from and compile your own playlist, because what I’m sharing is, in each and every case, just the tip of its own excellent iceberg. (Also, I do actually spend time on the meager, terrible song-to-song transitions, hand-editing them all in Logic, because not only do I not know what I’m doing, I also demand to fumble through my leisure activites in the most laborious way possible.) And yes, I back-edited all my posts, so if a deep-seated loathing of the podcast has been all that’s keeping me from you, let it hold you back no longer. Thanks again for listening! See you all in a month or so.

PUT THEM TITTIES ON THE GLASS HOUSTON: VOLUME 11 / EPISODE 1

I’ve been making mixtapes for my friends for the past year or so and decided it would be easier for everyone involved if I just aggregated them through a podcast. No promises on how often I’m gonna make these although I do have a back catalogue of mixes to dump in here (including the Oricon J-Pop mix CD I keep threatening to foist on people and a Lil B best-of I made six months ago and which is now wildly out of date).
Tracklist of the first episode is below; subscribe to the feed through iTunes or through some other program. Lemme know if anything looks weird or if there’s some useful metadata I’m missing; I’ve enabled replies and whatnot.
The-Dream: Yamahaimmi: Milk & Honey Dear Jayne: Rain   Erykah Badu: Jump Up In The Air and Stay There (feat. Lil Wayne & Bilal)   Lil B: 1 Time   Girl Unit: Wut    Destroyer: Savage Night At The Opera   Drummers: Planes II   Cathedral: Urko’s Conquest   Rangda: Serrated Edges   Totalselfhatred: Sledge Hammered Heart   The Jet Age Of Tomorrow: Want You Still (Ft.
